Sitting here looking at this very blank page, I realize that one thing you should know about me is that I seem to be an optimist.
That, and I am slowly growing ever better with my camera, which I imagine is the real reason you are here.
I was a girl in search of a talent for many years, until a friend of my father's was in town and we sparked up a conversation about photography. I was hooked. From there, I spent the summer soaking up every bit of knowledge I could get from my father and his friend. They are both fantastic photographers and even though I couldn't tell my aperture from my elbow, it was instantly my goal to do their many hours of patient instruction justice.
I started with my dad's old 35mm cameras, the Canons AE-1 Program and T70. Both are amazing pieces of equipment and I have been a Canon girl ever since. And thanks to my husband, my father and his lovely wife, I am now shooting with the Canon 450D and I adore it. It's enough camera to slightly intimidate me but not to the point that I am afraid to use it.
As far as how the rest of my apprenticeship and the work of the past few years has turned out, I invite you to review these pages and the following websites. And keep coming back, because I am always up to something!
Oh, and if you are so inclined you can also find me at http://www.flickr.com/photos/beautifullemons and my little shop.
Hope to hear from you soon!
A.
